An industry veteran, Denis McGee is an inspirational leader with 45+ years of banking experience across various geographies and domains. His last corporate role was as the Chief Administrative Officer of Wells Fargo in Manila, the Philippines where he built a high-performing team of 4,000+ in 3 years for the Enterprise Global Services, providing Customer Service, Business Services, Risk Services, Social Media, Marketing Support, and Technology Delivery capabilities for Wells Fargo. Prior to this, Denis worked with National Australia Bank (NAB) in Melbourne for 5+ years, serving as the Chief Information Officer of the bank in his last assignment.
Prior to Wells Fargo and NAB, Denis had an accomplished career spanning 38+ years with Australia New Zealand Banking Group, leading assignments in all facets of banking technology across most of the bank’s businesses. He was the Chairman of ANZ’s offshore unit in India and spent 3 years in Bangalore, building and managing the operation.
Denis has a proven track record of driving organizational and technology changes across multiple geographies and cultures with empathy and dignity. He demonstrates strong leadership in managing innovation and strategy, while building high-performing, self-managed teams that deliver performance at an appropriate cost and metrics profile.
Denis holds a Bachelors of Business, Banking, and Finance from Monash Chisholm Institute of Technology (now Monash University), in Melbourne, Australia. He serves as a mentor and sits as a director on a couple of company boards. A culturally agile person, who quickly integrates into new geographies, companies, and diverse teams to deliver great results through collaboration and leadership. With a quiet style that wins over teams, he is passionate about coaching people to help them achieve their professional and personal goals.
