Charlie Roberson

Charlie Roberson is the Co-founder and the CEO at Gloplax. An industry veteran in the financial services sector, he retired from Wells Fargo as Executive Vice President after an illustrious and long stint of 28 years.
He led the company’s global services from its inception in 2007; growing it to 25,000+ resources a decade later. Charlie Roberson created an approach that suited Wells Fargo’s culture and earned the trust of senior leaders across the Company. He built a capable enterprise with a global team to assess opportunities, support decision-makers, transition the selected processes, and provide excellence in ongoing delivery; primarily in India and the Philippines.
He led Enterprise Transformation efforts to identify $4 billion in cost savings by 2020, across all business lines, contact centres, operations, technology and support functions. Sceptics were converted when in 2018 more than $1 billion in savings had been realized and the rest was in flight. The expected savings utilize the full spectrum of levers including global and domestic workforce location, process transformation, organizational centralization, establishing centres of excellence, automation and artificial intelligence, outsourcing arrangements and third-party efficiency. These efforts are supported by Enterprise change management, communications, governance, and reporting.
In the past, Charlie held a variety of finance and strategy leadership roles in business groups, technology & operations, and mergers & acquisitions. He is a frequent speaker and enjoys sharing his experiences. He is a CPA and a graduate of Texas Tech University Rawls College of Business.
