Gloplax's Co-Founder and Managing Director, Aveek Mukherjee, delivered the keynote address at an interactive session curated by HSBC India in Gurgaon on the topic “Opportunities for Global Capability Centres in India”, The event was attended by GCC leaders and other industry seniors.

Aveek provided a practitioner’s view to the evolution of a GCC through the lifecycle stages, based on his individual experience of having set up and led two large GCCs.

He also spoke about the current GCC wave, “The focus on global capability centers as a means to reduce costs appears to be paying off, with 36 percent of enterprises reporting the use of a GCC has improved cost savings by 25 percent or more, ISG research.“

He concluded his address by questioning the current GCCs on their vision of the future and the typical challenges that the current GCCs face.

He discussed possible strategies. The audience appreciated the insights he shared.
